Nationality, Ethnicity, and Cultural Competence:
The Politics and Ethics of Self-Identification

The Canadian Latinx Theatre Artist Coalition (CALTAC) and SFU Woodward's Cultural Programs are thrilled to invite you to the second Coyuntura, on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16, 2023.

The only conference of its kind in Canada, we are proud to be the ones to convene our comunidad for two days of workshops, assemblies, pitch sessions, dance breaks, and chisme. COYUNTURA centres Latinx voices and experiences. We welcome international guests and we urge all our non-Latinx allies to attend. This year’s COYUNTURA will centre on the theme of self-identification in regard to nationality, ethnicity, and cultural competency.
